In attempts to overcome her shyness of speaking in front of crowds Mary-Grace stepped into acting later in life, debuting in Lower Lake under the direction of the great Jane Weaver. After a few smaller plays she went on to leads in On Golden Pond and Steel Magnolias. She also tried her hand in directing with Dracula but after getting over her stage fright she preferred to be up front and center!
She and her husband started their family when they were 35 which lead to a 10 year hiatus from acting but during that time she began to sing which lead to performing under Claudia Listman in two Middletown Renaissance Pageants.
Her return to stage in Animal Farm is her first in 17 years and the first time she has performed in Lakeport with the Lake County Theatre Company.
